ASTER Installation

1. Download the ASTER installation package from our download page https://www.ibiksoft.com/download-aster-multiseat-software/

2. After downloading, double click the installer to start the installation process.

3. On the first installation window, you need to choose your language from the list and then click the “OK” button (Figure 1)

4. Check the “Create a restore point” checkbox, if System Restore is enabled on your system and then click the “Next” button (Figure 2).

Figure 36. Read the “End User License Agreement” and if you accept the terms and conditions of the user license agreement of ASTER, check the “I agree to these terms and conditions” checkbox and click the “Next” button to continue (Figure 4).

Figure 47. Choose your desired installation directory, and optionally check the checkboxes to set the corresponding options (selected by default) and then click the “Install” button (Figure 5).

Figure 58. Once ASTER installation has completed, you will see a dialog box stating to uninstall “Geforce Experience and 3D Vision apps” if installed on the system as it can cause malfunction of ASTER. Click the “OK” button to complete the installation (Figure 6).

ASTER - this is a shortcut that will open the ASTER Control Panel

ASTER User Guide- this is a shortcut that will open the ASTER user manual to refer to when configuring ASTER.

EULA (End User License Agreement)– is the user's license agreement.

These three shortcuts may not be shown in the Recently Used section in Start Menu, but they can always be found in the start menu under “ASTER Control”.
You need to run ASTER as an administrator to configure ASTER or make any changes to your workplace. If you do not run ASTER as an administrator, then when you apply the changes in ASTER, you will get an error “Error 1 (109)”
